Wind Speed and Direction

The Davis anemometer isn't revolutionary--it's all about simplicity. It measures wind speed and direction over your chosen measurement interval without complex setup, maintenance, or programming.

Straightforward Setup

Setup is simple: mount with two screws, orient with a compass, plug into the logger, and start logging wind data.

Wind: a Critical Soil Moisture Variable

Wind is one of the main variables that determines how fast water moves through the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. With the Davis anemometer, you can add this important variable to your soil moisture data set without a lot of hassle.
