| "aw < 0.0..." or "LO" message appears on screen | Dirty sample chamber or mirror sample too dry to be accurately measured |
| "Block ROM failed" message appears on screen after turning on (Series 3) | Block is disconnected from motherboard
Block memory component has failed |
| Triangle appears in upper-right corner (Series 3) | Mirror is dirty |
