Dear colleagues,
Is there any way to modify a DataStation to deliver data through the web?

The datastation does not currently have a straightforward way of delivering data via the web. We have considered developing a cell delivery mode for the datastation similar to our EM50G, and we are currently assessing the potential demand for this type of product. Is this the type of thing you had in mind? Please feel free to comment on whether this type of system will be useful to you. I would also like to invite our customer community at large to weigh in here.
It is possible to automate data retrieval from a datastation connected to a computer. You might then be able to access your data remotely. We handle support for this type of application on a case by case basis, and it does require some advanced computing skills on the part of the user. If you wish to pursue this avenue please contact us directly through support@decagon.com.

Dear Virgil,
Thanks for your quick reply. It is very interesting to know about the futur developement about a cell delivery model.
By the time being, the farms we have been have enough GPRS for installing Em50G, so it is not needed an alternative system.
The question came from some farmers which already have an Em50 and they want to include a GPRS/GSM remote data system, using the current datalogger. Abd they ask for a GPRS module able to be installed in their Em50.
Regards!
