    Which soil measurements do you have to make before installing a weighing lysimeter?

    It is important that you have characterized the soil that you want to install a weighing lysimeter. You want to make sure that it is representative of the site that you are trying to understand. It is also important to make sure that there is not a chance that the soil has a seasonal water table that could flood the lysimeter and its service well damaging equipment.
