Finding the Right Water Activity Meter for Your Application

Some Considerations:

Accuracy
Government regulations (or your own product development specifications) may require that your product be within a certain water activity zone. If this zone is narrower than ± 0.015 aw, you will need either the Series 3 or the Series 3TE.

Price

Frequency of Use
All of our water activity meters are resilient, but the Series 3 and Series 3TE are best for high-volume testing (20+ samples per day). Both feature a 3-year parts/labor warranty — an additional safety net for heavily used machines.

Portability
If you need to carry your instrument with you, the battery-powered Pawkit is ideal. The LITE requires an outlet, but comes with a carrying-case for easy transport.
