AccuPAR LP-80 Ceptometer
Leaf Area Index and PAR Measurement
The LP-80 is a hand-held ceptometer that consists of an integrated controller and 90cm-long probe. The probe contains 80 photosensors that measure Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) and send the data to the controller. The PAR measurements can be used to measure light interception by the plant canopy, or to calculate the Leaf Area Index (LAI) of the canopy. The PAR interception and LAI data is automatically calculated and displayed with each measurement you take.
